Since March 2020, we’ve noticed that Zoom’s live streaming platform has been quickly gaining popularity with event organisers pivoting to Virtual for content distribution. The two main reasons why people attend events is to find relevant contacts who could bring them business, and relevant
content about the industry. This is no exception even for fully Virtual events.
At Jublia, we’ve made it our primary responsibility to enable both content and networking discovery through our unified online platform despite event disruptions. Due to Google Chrome’s cookie policy changes, we have made enhancements to our existing Zoom Integrations and are thrilled to announce our latest improvement which make it even more seamless for Jublia users to access the Zoom webinars.
We have developed our own proprietary Zoom Widget that allows organisers to integrate the software seamlessly on Jublia’s platform. Residing in each agenda session on our platform rests a Zoom live stream player that auto populates the login fields for every attendee. This provides your audience a streamlined content experience that is both convenient and personalised to a user’s experience.
Moreover, we are compatible with the new requirements of Zoom, which require all Webinars to have a password. However, users of Match will not need to enter the password as our deeper integration allows for you to preset this on our Agenda builder, allowing for a seamless entry of your users. Thus, having these functions built as part of our entire platform infrastructure has tremendously increase the user satisfaction for content discovery.
One of the best benefits of our Zoom Widget is providing organisers with the ability to centralise their data tracking and analytics management. As most of you already know, Jublia is a leader in event data analytics. Through our Sense platform, organisers are able to learn specific explicit user interest and cross reference them with implicit user actions.
Currently, we are also allowing various user groups to see the Agenda module and/or which tracks. This allows organisers to monetize their content through customised user segmentation depending on the event requirements. Going forward, we will be including more content and session analytics which would undoubtedly open up more monetisation options. These would include gleaning analytics of a specific video stream that a user is looking at, which would be a massive game changer when proving ROI to content sponsors.
Another key benefit that we had in mind when developing this module is security. Jublia takes a very proactive and strict stance on this matter. We partner thousands of events globally including some of the most sensitive shows in the world that are run by government agencies and corporates. Having the Zoom Widget would also centralise the user’s experience onto one main platform. Think of us as a very secured “virtual venue”. There will be zero requirements for attendees to download any foreign third-party applications. Yes, you do not need to have a Zoom player installed to view content on the Jublia platform.

Should virtual events replicate live events as closely as possible or should they be completely new experiences?
