When it comes to popular destinations for conferences and exhibitions, what comes up on our mind? South Korea! It is one of the countries that put much effort in developing their MICE industry. Seoul, in particular, is ranked 3rd of MICE city by the UIA (Union of International Associations). Recently, we have also seen that South Korea ranks amongst the top 4 destinations in Asia based on gross floor area sold in 2017.
At Jublia, we have been working with South Korean organisers to enable the best business matching using technology within a unique business culture, leveraging on the good concept of “face” (kibun) to foster harmonious face-to-face meetings at events.
We are glad to announce that Jublia is selected as one of the top 80 teams for the K-Startup Grand Challenge, an acceleration programme organised by NIPA (National IT Industry Promotion Agency).
Through this opportunity, we are making a focused entry to South Korea to level up the business matching capability in events while supporting their outbound events with our global experience.
We sincerely look forward to partner our clients with a localised Jublia technology that fits seamlessly with the business culture.
Aidan Chan, Jublia’s lead for South Korea will be based in Seoul from August and he will be looking forward to connect with our existing clients and new partners. Please feel free to contact Aidan via aidan@jublia.com, if there’s any chance to collaborate with Jublia.
